We went for a 3.5 week cycle tour from Brisbane to Bundaberg (via a circuitous route joining minor roads, shops, national parks, beaches). Awesome cycle touring destination. Will write more details in a few weeks when I'm back from my next holiday. Not sure of length, prob about 1400km?
